The Research Group of Granular Geotechnics is led by full Professor (Distinguished) Fei Jianbo at Shenzhen University, under the guidance of Academician Chen Xiangsheng, and co-works with Professor Jie Yuxin from Tsinghua University.
The group is dedicated to the interpretation of soil mechanics from a physics perspective, revealing the mechanism of the geological hazards (avalanches, earthquakes, etc), and solving geotechnical engineering problems using various innovative methodologies.
